Position: Lead Technician
Position Overview
The Lead Technician plays a critical role in delivering high-quality exterior cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. This position requires expertise in pressure washing, window cleaning, and building washing, as well as the ability to operate specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
The Lead Technician ensures all cleaning tasks are performed to company standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional pressure washing, window cleaning, and building washing services for residential and commercial properties.
- Operate and maintain cleaning machinery, including pressure washers, surface cleaners, and other related equipment.
- Transport and handle equipment, hoses, and cleaning solutions as required.
- Conduct pre-service property inspections, identifying and documenting any pre-existing conditions such as missing siding, stressed or dead plants, cracked windows, or other structural concerns. All findings must be recorded with a date/time stamp in photo taking app.
- Execute test spot procedures to determine the best cleaning approach for each surface type.
- Safely operate and maintain a company-provided work truck. The Lead Technician is responsible for ensuring the vehicle remains clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
- Ensure the safety and proper operation of company vehicles while transporting equipment and crew members.
- Work in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of performance and professionalism.
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Tech Assistants, ensuring they understand proper machinery operation, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
- Assist in the removal and repositioning of furniture, plants, or other objects to prevent damage from overspray or cleaning solutions.
- Conduct a final inspection of each job site to ensure all cleaning tasks have been completed thoroughly and to the highest standards and nothing has been missed.
- Maintain a strong attendance record and consistently demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the company.
